Silver Enameled Russian Hungarian Box

€3.950,00

A rare piece of super pristine silver work.

These silver, enamelled box with blue-gray-white colors are worth collecting.

Everything is made AF or super.

The box was made around 1890 in a Russian Hungarian country, in a silversmith.

It is believed that the silversmith learned the trade at Fabergé 1846-1920

Peter Carl Fabergé was born in St. Petersburg on May 30, 1846, the son of the jeweler Gustav Fabergé and his Danish wife, Charlotte Junstedt. The famous Fabergé House had been opened by his father a few years earlier. After training in Dresden and Frankfurt, Peter Carl took over his father's studio in 1870.

Purveyor to the Tsar

Fabergé became purveyor to the Russian tsar. His commission included the famous jeweled eggs. The tsar gave these eggs to his wife as a present. Peter Carl Fabergé made a total of fifty of these eggs named after him.

The quality of this box reminds us of that.

Unfortunately, we don't have enough information about that.

The silver box is:

8 cm long

5 cm wide

1 cm high

and weighs 100 grams

The silver box can be shipped !!
